One of Lviv’s most anticipated culinary festivals is set to return to the very heart of the ancient city as the Cheese & Wine Festival will take over the Lviv Art Palace from October 20-22, 2017. Leopolitan cheese lovers and guests of the city can expect over 200 types of cheese from more than 30 local artisan cheese companies. Thirsty visitors will be able to choose from a wide selection of flavours from different regions, including reds, whites, and a selection of homemade ciders and spirits. Also on hand to compliment the wine and cheese will be a selection of artisan chutneys, breads, oils, and cheesecakes.
As always, the Cheese & Wine Festival will provide visitors with the unique opportunity to learn about cheese-making culture and wine-making traditions. The programme includes several culinary workshops that will take place alongside musical performances and special games and contests for children. Of course, the festival wouldn’t be complete without the many presentations and tastings of the delicious cheeses and exquisite wines. The festival aims to bring the delicious foods and drinks to everyone. No wine snobbery here – just exciting new tastes to explore, fascinating facts to discover, and passionate foodies to meet! If previous events are any indication, a fun time is to be had by all!
